Contour Lines and DEM: Generation and Extraction
2001Contour lines are, as Digital Elevation Models (DEM), 3D information describing the terrain topography. The aim of this work is to demonstrate how the use of a powerful DEM modeling structure, taking into account both representation characteristics, eases their collaboration for topography representation.

Generalized Speech Interference Noise Contours
Journal of Speech and Hearing Research, 1964Based on an extensive literature review of the effects of noise on speech intelligibility, a series of noise rating curves are developed. These Speech Interference (SI) contours are intended to bridge the gap between (1) Noise Criteria (NC) and Alternate Noise Criteria (NCA) curves used to rate the suitability of offices, and (2) a Speech Interference (

Contouring with the Large Optical Generator
Optical Fabrication and Testing Workshop, 1985The Large Optical Generator (LOG), a computer numerically controlled vertical grinder has been used to generate a convex off-axis segment of an f/0.35, 10 m parent paraboloid. The segment subtends 45° of arc and has inner and outer radii of 350 and 1975 mm respectively. Overall dimensions of the segment are about 2x2x0.12 m.

Key Generator with a Forming Contour
2018 XIV International Scientific-Technical Conference on Actual Problems of Electronics Instrument Engineering (APEIE), 2018Since the energy efficiency of the radio transmitting devices is mainly determined by the output stage, the solution to this problem is largely reduced to improving the circuit design and the choice of the optimal mode of operation of the power amplifier.

A vector-regression tree for generating energy contours
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2000This letter presents a novel approach based on the vector-regression tree to generate energy contours. Given linguistic features, our approach predicts a vector containing ten sampled energy values for each phone by using a vector-regression tree, concatenates the vectors, and computes energy values at 10 ms intervals by linear interpolation.

Contour generator for audio signal
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1979A circuit for providing a predetermined contour for the audio signal produced by an electronic musical instrument. A reference potential which is changed under predetermined conditions, and an unidirectional reference current which may also change under some or all of the predetermined conditions, are applied to a circuit which changes the amplitude of

A new algorithm which operates in a distributed processing environment for extracting 8-direction chain-coded contours and determining contours inclusion relationship from a binary-valued image is described. The image is divided into regions, with any two regions having either one row or no pixel in common.
