The effect of oral administration of the contraceptive agent Ovral-28 (100 mcg/day) on the hepatotoxic effects of aflatoxin B1 was studied in female rats. The animals received Ovral-28 for 16 days prior to the ip administration of a single dose of aflatoxin B1.
