Predictive Biomarkers in Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Patients Treated With Bevacizumab: A Turkish Oncology Group (TOG) Study

Bevacizumab added to systemic chemotherapy remains a cornerstone of metastatic colorectal cancer treatment, but its effectiveness is variable. Tumors can bypass the VEGF blockade by activating other pro‐angiogenic pathways, hampering the identification of predictive biomarkers.

Surgically confirmed severe endometriosis is associated with lower risk of steatotic liver disease: Evidence of estrogen‐linked hepatic–reproductive crosstalk

Severe surgically confirmed endometriosis was associated with a lower prevalence of steatotic liver disease than non‐severe disease. Higher estradiol levels may partly explain this inverse hepatic–reproductive association, supporting integrated gynecologic and hepatologic risk assessment.

Edible Fungus Compound Cordycepin Protects Against Acetaminophen‐Induced Liver Injury

This study demonstrates that pretreatment with cordycepin (COR) effectively protects against acetaminophen (APAP)‐induced acute liver injury in mice. COR mitigates liver damage by exerting strong antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and anti‐apoptotic effects through the modulation of ER proteostasis, HIF‐1, and PPAR signaling networks.
