Wavelet-Based Identification for Spinning Projectile with Gasodynamic Control Aerodynamic Coefficients Determination

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Identification of a spinning projectile controlled with gasodynamic engines is shown in this paper. A missile model with a measurement inertial unit was developed from Newton’s law of motion and its aerodynamic coefficients were identified.

Fictitious Controls and Approximation of an Optimal Control Problem for Perona-Malik Equation

open access: yesJournal of Optimization, Differential Equations and Their Applications, 2022
We discuss the existence of solutions to an optimal control problem for the Cauchy-Neumann boundary value problem for the evolutionary Perona-Malik equations. The control variable v is taken as a distributed control.

Evaluating brain parcellations using the distance controlled boundary coefficient [PDF]

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, 2021
AbstractOne important approach to human brain mapping is to define a set of distinct regions that can be linked to unique functions. Numerous brain parcellations have been proposed, using cytoarchitectonic, structural or functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) data.

A Game-Theoretic Approach for the Effective Distributed Coordination of STATCOMs

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
The increasing integration of utility-scale wind/photovoltaic farms in transmission networks is posing new technological challenges that must be faced to ensure grid stability. Voltage control is one of the issues that must be tackled.

A content-aware quantisation mechanism for transform domain distributed video coding [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The discrete cosine transform (DCT) is widely applied in modern codecs to remove spatial redundancies, with the resulting DCT coefficients being quantised to achieve compression as well as bit-rate control. In distributed video coding (DVC) architectures

Continuously controlled K-theory with variable coefficients

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Algebra, 2000
Using geometric modules with continuous control at infinity and variable coefficients a homology theory is constructed which is called \(K\)-theory with variable coefficients. It can be viewed as a kind of pushout of the previously defined theories given by boundedly controlled \(K\)-theory with variable coefficients and continuously controlled \(K ...

Perturbative Renormalization of Improved Lattice Operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We derive bases of improved operators for all bilinear quark currents up to spin two (including the operators measuring the first moment of DIS Structure Functions), and compute their one-loop renormalization constants for arbitrary coefficients of the ...

H-Optimal Control in Coefficients for Dirichlet Parabolic Problems

open access: yesVìsnik Dnìpropetrovsʹkogo Unìversitetu: Serìâ Modelûvannâ, 2010
In the paper the Dirichlet optimal control problem associated with a linear parabolic equation the coefficients of which we take as controls in L1(Ω) has been studied. Since equations of this type can exhibit the Lavrentieff phenomenon and non-uniqueness

Estimation of Stability Parameters for Wide Body Aircraft Using Computational Techniques

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
In this paper, we present the procedure of estimating the aerodynamic coefficients for a commercial aviation aircraft from geometric parameters at low-cruise-flight conditions using US DATCOM (United States Data Compendium) and XFLR software. The purpose

Synthesis of low‐coefficient sensitivity controllers with respect to multiplicative controller coefficient variations

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2015
In this study, a set of optimal state‐space descriptions with minimum H ∞ ‐sensitivity to multiplicative controller coefficient variations and a desirable disturbance attenuation level is synthesised for discrete‐time linear systems.
