A method with inertial extrapolation step for convex constrained monotone equations

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2021
In recent times, various algorithms have been incorporated with the inertial extrapolation step to speed up the convergence of the sequence generated by these algorithms.

Convergence of Phase-Field Free Energy and Boundary Force for Molecular Solvation

open access: yes, 2016
We study a phase-field variational model for the solvaiton of charged molecules with an implicit solvent. The solvation free-energy functional of all phase fields consists of the surface energy, solute excluded volume and solute-solvent van der Waals ...

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Difference Gai Sequences of Interval numbers with respect to Orlicz Function

open access: yesActa Scientiarum: Technology
In this article we have introduced some classes generalized difference () Gai sequences of interval numbers with Orlicz functions M. We have studied some algebraic and topological properties of the classes of sequences like, linearity, completeness ...

Stochastic Frank-Wolfe Methods for Nonconvex Optimization

open access: yes, 2016
We study Frank-Wolfe methods for nonconvex stochastic and finite-sum optimization problems. Frank-Wolfe methods (in the convex case) have gained tremendous recent interest in machine learning and optimization communities due to their projection-free ...

Evolutionary Convergence to Ideal Free Dispersal Strategies and Coexistence

open access: yesBulletin of Mathematical Biology, 2011
We study a two species competition model in which the species have the same population dynamics but different dispersal strategies and show how these dispersal strategies evolve. We introduce a general dispersal strategy which can result in the ideal free distributions of both competing species at equilibrium and generalize the result of Averill et al.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

On paranormed type fuzzy I -convergent double multiplier sequences

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science, 2013
In this article, we introduce the classes of fuzzy real valued double sequences  and  , where   is a multiplier sequence of non-zero real numbers and   is a double sequence of bounded strictly positive numbers.

SOME MODIFICATIONS OF CHEBYSHEV-HALLEY’S METHODS FREE FROM SECOND DERIVATIVE WITH EIGHTH-ORDER OF CONVERGENCE

open access: yesBarekeng, 2022
The variant of Chebyshev-Halley’s method is an iterative method used for solving a nonlinear equation with third order of convergence. In this paper, we present some new variants of three steps Chebyshev-Halley’s method free from second derivative with ...

New conformal mapping for adaptive resolving of the complex singularities of Stokes wave

open access: yes, 2017
A new highly efficient method is developed for computation of traveling periodic waves (Stokes waves) on the free surface of deep water. A convergence of numerical approximation is determined by the complex singularites above the free surface for the ...
