The Regulation of Trace Metal Elements in Cancer Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
The induction of ferroptosis inhibits tumor growth, enhances anticancer efficacy, and overcomes drug resistance. Recent evidence shows nonferrous metal elements play a role in ferroptosis. This review focuses on how trace metals regulate ferroptosis processes like iron accumulation, lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant defense.

Feller property and convergence for semigroups of time-changed processes [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We give a substitute to Feller property for semigroups of time-changed processes; under some conditions this leads to establish sufficient (new) conditions for the semigroups to be Feller. Moreover, given a standard process and a sequence of measures converging vaguely to a final measure, under some assumptions, we establish convergence of the sequence

Regional convergence in Italy: time series approaches [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper investigates the evolution of the gap between Italian regions and Italy as a whole during the period 1980-2007. We tested for the presence of the stochastic and β-convergence hypotheses using different time series approaches.

A Novel Prescribed-Time Convergence Acceleration Algorithm with Time Rescaling

open access: yesMathematics
In machine learning, the processing of datasets is an unavoidable topic. One important approach to solving this problem is to design some corresponding algorithms so that they can eventually converge to the optimal solution of the optimization problem ...

Uniform Lacunary Statistical Convergence on Time Scales

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2017
We introduce (θ,m)-uniform lacunary density of any set and (θ,m)-uniform lacunary statistical convergence on an arbitrary time scale. Moreover, (θ,m)-uniform strongly p-lacunary summability and some inclusion relations about these new concepts are also ...
