GPS/GLONASS Combined Precise Point Positioning with Receiver Clock Modeling

open access: yesSensors, 2015
Research has demonstrated that receiver clock modeling can reduce the correlation coefficients among the parameters of receiver clock bias, station height and zenith tropospheric delay.

External Tropospheric Corrections by Using Kriging Interpolation for Improving PPP-RTK Positioning Solutions

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
With the availability of satellite carrier-phase delay corrections provided by a reference network or the International GNSS Service (IGS), the integer ambiguity resolution for a single receiver can be successfully achieved, which is the so-called PPP ...

Nonadaptive Amino Acid Convergence Rates Decrease over Time. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Convergence is a central concept in evolutionary studies because it provides strong evidence for adaptation. It also provides information about the nature of the fitness landscape and the repeatability of evolution, and can mislead phylogenetic inference.

On the Convergence of Ionospheric Constrained Precise Point Positioning (IC-PPP) Based on Undifferential Uncombined Raw GNSS Observations

open access: yesSensors, 2013
Precise Point Positioning (PPP) has become a very hot topic in GNSS research and applications. However, it usually takes about several tens of minutes in order to obtain positions with better than 10 cm accuracy.

Speed of convergence of time Euler schemes for a stochastic 2D Boussinesq model [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics 2022, 10(22) 4246, 2022
We prove that an implicit time Euler scheme for the 2D-Boussinesq model on the torus $D$ converges. Various moment of the $W^{1,2}$-norms of the velocity and temperature, as well as their discretizations, are computed. We obtain the optimal speed of convergence in probability, and a logarithmic speed of convergence in $L^2(\Omega)$.

A New Weighting Approach with Application to Ionospheric Delay Constraint for GPS/GALILEO Real-Time Precise Point Positioning

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
The real-time precise point positioning (RT PPP) technique has attracted increasing attention due to its high-accuracy and real-time performance. However, a considerable initialization time, normally a few hours, is required in order to achieve the ...

Graph-Based Generalization of Galam Model: Convergence Time and Influential Nodes

open access: yesPhysics, 2023
We study a graph-based generalization of the Galam opinion formation model. Consider a simple connected graph which represents a social network. Each node in the graph is colored either blue or white, which indicates a positive or negative opinion on a ...

On the Convergence Time of a Natural Dynamics for Linear Programming [PDF]

open access: yesAlgorithmica, 2019
We consider a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations for the solution of linear programming (LP) problems that was first proposed in the mathematical biology literature as a model for the foraging behavior of acellular slime mold Physarum polycephalum, and more recently considered as a method to solve LPs.

Real-Time PPP-RTK Performance Analysis Using Ionospheric Corrections from Multi-Scale Network Configurations

open access: yesSensors, 2020
The long convergence time required to achieve high-precision position solutions with integer ambiguity resolution-enabled precise point positioning (PPP-RTK) is driven by the presence of ionospheric delays.

Improving the Convergence Period of Adaptive Data Rate in a Long Range Wide Area Network for the Internet of Things Devices

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
A Long-Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) is one of the most efficient technologies and is widely adopted for the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The IoT consists of massive End Devices (EDs) deployed over large geographical areas, forming a large ...
