Some results on random smoothness

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
Based on the analysis of stratification structure on random normed modules, we first present the notion of random smoothness in random normed modules. Then, we establish the relations between random smoothness and random strict convexity. Finally, a type

Convexity of Bertrand oligopoly TU-games with differentiated products [PDF]

open access: yes
In this article we consider Bertrand oligopoly TU-games with differentiated products. We assume that the demand system is Shubik's (1980) and that firms operate at a constant and identical marginal and average cost. First, we show that the alpha and beta-

On the modulus of W∗-convexity

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper, we prove that the moduli of W∗-convexity, introduced by Ji Gao [J. Gao, The W∗-convexity and normal structure in Banach spaces, Appl. Math. Lett.

Hierarchical Multi‐Material Architectures With Gradient Design for Dynamic‐Range Flexible Tactile Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Hierarchical multi‐material TPMS lattices are engineered as flexible tactile sensors by combining soft and stiff elastomeric layers with a conformal conductive coating. The bilayer architecture delivers sensitivity at low pressures while maintaining a broad detectable range under large loads, enabling reliable pressure and vibration monitoring for ...

Regularity of minimizers for nonconvex vectorial integrals with p-q growth via relaxation methods

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2004
Local Lipschitz continuity of local minimizers of vectorial integrals ∫Ω f(x,Du)dx is proved when f satisfies p-q growth condition and ξ↦f(x,ξ) is not convex.

A selection theorem for topological convex structures [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1993
A continuous selection theorem has been obtained for multivalued functions, the values of which are convex sets of certain synthetic convex structures. Applications are given related with superextensions, (semi)lattices, spaces of order arcs, trees, Whitney levels in hyperspaces, and geometric topology.

Eurodollar futures and options: convexity adjustment in HJM one- factor model [PDF]

open access: yes
In this note we give pricing formulas for different instruments linked to rate futures (euro-dollar futures). We provide the future price including the convexity adjustment and the exact dates.

A further characteristic of abstract convexity structures on topological spaces

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper, we give a characteristic of abstract convexity structures on topological spaces with selection property. We show that if a convexity structure C defined on a topological space has the weak selection property then C satisfies H0-condition ...

Revealing the Transmission Hologram's Refractive Index Profile Stored in a Photohydrogel: A Structural Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A theoretical model is developed to visualize three‐dimensional refractive index profiles in transmission holographic gratings. In this work, it is applied to photopolymerizable hydrogels, enabling detailed analysis of the internal structure of recorded holograms and their evolution under different degradation conditions.
