Cooling Loss Characteristics of Working Fluid Pump for Pump-driven Two-phase Circulation Loop
A pump-driven two-phase circulation loop system was built for data center cooling in order to make full use of the ambient energy. In this study, the cooling loss characteristic of working fluid pump was investigated by changing the system temperature ...

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

The Research of Cooling Load and Cooling Capacity Calculation Methods of Spinning Workshop
AbstractThis article takes a spinning workshop of Xi’an region in summer as an example, calculated and contrasted each part cooling load of spinning workshop by using cooling load coefficient method and steady calculation method, it comes to a conclusion that the results of two algorithms are little different and using steady calculation method is ...

The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

The time scale for cooling of the gravitationally bound gaseous intracluster medium (ICM) is not determined by radiative processes alone. If the ICM is in quasi-hydrostatic equilibrium in the fixed gravitational field of the dark matter halo then energy ...

Harnessing Fungal Biowelding for Constructing Mycelium‐Engineered Materials
Mycelium‐bound composites (MBCs) offer low‐carbon alternatives for construction, yet interfacial bonding remains a critical challenge. This review examines fungal biowelding as a biocompatible adhesive, elucidating mycelium‐mediated interfacial mechanisms and their role in material assembly. Strategies to optimize biowelding are discussed, highlighting

Powder metal processing provides scalable advantages in nanoporous (np) metal development. Mechanical alloying is used to produce unique precursors for hybrid nanopore formation by oxide reduction and dealloying. As demonstrated in np Ag, this approach improves process efficiency while promoting smaller ligaments and larger pores, both of which are ...

Working Characteristics of a Rotary Booster-driven Loop Cooling Unit
Free cooling is widely applied in data centers as a promising technology for energy conservation. A loop cooling unit driven by a miniature rotary booster for free cooling was developed for a small data center.

Development of an apparatus for cooling 6Li-87Rb Fermi-Bose mixtures in a light-assisted magnetic trap [PDF]
We describe an experimental setup designed to produce ultracold trapped gas clouds of fermionic 6Li and bosonic 87Rb. This combination of alkali metals has the potential to reach deeper Fermi degeneracy with respect to other mixtures since it allows for ...
