Cooperative aggregate production planning: a game theory approach
Production costs in general, and workforce and inventory costs in particular, constitute a large fraction of the operating costs of many manufacturing plants. We introduce cooperative aggregate production planning as a way to decrease these costs.

Payoff-dependent balancedness and cores (revised version) [PDF]
We prove the non-emptiness of the core of an NTU game satisfying a condition of payoff-dependent balancedness, based on transfer rate mappings. We also define a new equilibrium condition on transfer rates and we prove the existence of core payoff vectors

This review highlights how autoimmune diseases arise from intertwined immunological, genetic, and environmental factors, emphasizing gut microbiota dysbiosis as a pivotal driver. It outlines emerging nanotechnology‐based strategies—such as liposomes, hydrogels, and polymeric nanoparticles—that enhance targeted drug delivery, minimize systemic toxicity,

Information Sharing Games [PDF]
In this paper we study information sharing situations. For every information sharing situation we construct an associated cooperative game, which we call an information sharing game.We show that the class of information sharing games co-incides with the ...

Intermolecular Enantioselective Nickel‐Catalyzed Arylation of Un‐Activated C(sp3)─H Bond
Ni: a new solution for asymmetric C(sp3)─H activation. The stereoselective synthesis of all‐carbon quaternary stereogenic centres is achieved via enantioselective C(sp3)─H arylation using a Ni‐BINOL‐derived catalyst. Rational catalytic cycle design uncovers a new reaction pathway that can efficiently induce chiral information during the stereoselective

Sequential Bilateral Bargaining and the Shapley value [PDF]
We extend Ilya Segal's work on bilateral contracting in the presence of externalities to the case of bilateral bargaining in the presence of externalities.

ABSTRACT In order to reflect the actual production situation more comprehensively and optimize the production cost, this paper solves the short‐term scheduling optimization problem for a single pipeline containing high melting point crude oil. Based on the refining plan given by the upper layer, a multi‐objective optimization model with high melting ...

Consistency and potentials in cooperative TU-games: Sobolev's reduced game revived [PDF]
It was a quarter of a century ago that Sobolev proved the reduced game (otherwise called consistency) property for the much-discussed Shapley value of cooperative TU-games. The purpose of this paper is to extend Sobolev's result in two ways.
