Abstract Engaging students and fostering interactions can be a challenge in large enrollment, foundational‐level, undergraduate anatomy classes. Despite the active learning environment of the anatomy laboratory, students often struggle to find study partners or even speak to fellow learners in a large classroom.

More on one-commodity market games [PDF]
In this paper we present a new definition related to super-balanced games interpreted as a particular type of cooperative game with transferable utility (TU). A concept of solution is defined and an existence result is determined.

Abstract Game‐based learning (GBL) is increasingly used in medical education to supplement traditional didactic learning methods. Adult learners in particular may benefit from GBL, given the autonomous and iterative nature of a well‐designed educational game.

Abstract Anatomy is a foundational component of various medical and paramedical disciplines. Existing research has suggested that games or game elements can improve student interest in musculoskeletal (MSK) anatomy. This project builds on previous gamification and serious game work and incorporates new anatomy‐based games into undergraduate anatomy ...

Max-convex decompositions for cooperative TU games [PDF]
We show that any cooperative TU game is the maximum of a finite collection of convex games. This max-convex decomposition can be refined by using convex games with nonnegative dividends for all coalitions of at least two players.

Abstract The development of anatomy has been marked by ethically questionable practices. This has been because the dissection of human bodies has always existed on the periphery of conventional society, necessitating a range of dubious ways of obtaining dead bodies for educational and research purposes.

Egalitarianism in Multi-Choice Games [PDF]
In this paper we introduce the equal division core for arbitrary multi-choice games and the constrained egalitarian solution for con- vex multi-choice games, using a multi-choice version of the Dutta-Ray algorithm for traditional convex games.

Activism as education in and through the youth climate justice movement
Abstract Young people worldwide are increasingly participating in a global movement for climate justice, yet to date, little research has examined how youth climate justice activists conceive of and experience activism as education. The present study used in‐depth, semi‐structured interviews with 16 US climate justice activists (aged 15–17) to address ...

Do the Selfish Mimic Cooperators? Experimental Evidence from Finitely-Repeated Labor Markets [PDF]
Experimental studies have consistently shown that cooperative outcomes can emerge even in finitely repeated games. Such outcomes are justified by existing reputation building models, which suggest that cooperative outcomes can be sustained if some ...
