autoimage: Multiple Heat Maps for Projected Coordinates [PDF]

open access: yesThe R Journal, 2017
Heat maps are commonly used to display the spatial distribution of a response observed on a two-dimensional grid. The autoimage package provides convenient functions for constructing multiple heat maps in unified, seamless way, particularly when working with projected coordinates. The autoimage package natively supports: 1.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

MAPPING SUNGAI DAN BANGUNAN AIR DI WILAYAH SUNGAI MAKASSAR

open access: yes, 2016
Waterworks in the city of Makassar are needed to meet the need of water of the community and to serve as a deterrent or a disaster prevention that occurs in the rivers in the city of Makassar. Mapping rivers and waterworks in the city of Makassar aims to

Cloud-based map alignment strategies for multi-robot FastSLAM 2.0

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2019
The cooperative simultaneous localization and mapping problem has acquired growing attention over the years. Even though mapping of very large environments is theoretically quicker than a single robot simultaneous localization and mapping, it has several

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Solving Einstein's equations with dual coordinate frames [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A method is introduced for solving Einstein's equations using two distinct coordinate systems. The coordinate basis vectors associated with one system are used to project out components of the metric and other fields, in analogy with the way fields are ...

An anatomically oriented breast coordinate system for mammogram analysis

open access: yes, 2011
We have developed a breast coordinate system that is based on breast anatomy to register female breasts into a common coordinate frame in 2-D mediolateral (ML) or mediolateral oblique (MLO) view mammograms.

Transformation equation from wavefront aberrations to ray aberrations based on coordinate frames in object space

open access: yesJournal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications
Object and image spaces are widely used in geometrical optics to describe the functions of optical systems. However, the mapping between these two spaces is non-linear, meaning that a function expressed in coordinate frames in the image space cannot be ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Unfolding the hippocampus: an intrinsic coordinate system for subfield segmentations and quantitative mapping

open access: yes, 2017
The hippocampus, like the neocortex, has a morphological structure that is complex and variable in its folding pattern, especially in the hippocampal head.
