New finds from Belovode as well as revision and new interpretation of previously discovered features from the Early Vinča settlements at Vinča, Pločnik and Kosovska Mitrovica (Fafos I) shift the introduction of metallurgy in the central Balkans to the very beginning of the Vinča culture.
