Bayesian Inference for Joint Estimation Models Using Copulas to Handle Endogenous Regressors
ABSTRACT This study proposes a Bayesian approach for finite‐sample inference of the Gaussian copula endogeneity correction. Extant studies use frequentist inference, build on a priori computed estimates of marginal distributions of explanatory variables, and use bootstrapping to obtain standard errors. The proposed Bayesian approach facilitates precise

Abstract Large‐scale vegetation restoration is reshaping belowground systems globally, yet root dynamics remain poorly quantified, limiting predictions of ecosystem resilience to hydroclimatic variability. Rooting depth reflects a trade‐off between carbon benefits and respiratory costs, but assessment is hampered by soil‐moisture uncertainty and weak ...

ABSTRACTPerennial bioenergy crops, such as miscanthus and switchgrass, and crop residues have the potential to scale up sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production and mitigate carbon emissions. However, high establishment costs, delayed returns, and risk–return profiles that diverge from those of conventional crops can hinder incentives to adopt ...

Current Protections and Future Threats to Say's Spiketail Habitat in the Southeastern USA
Dragonflies and damselflies are important indicators of ecological integrity and environmental quality but remain underrepresented in conservation efforts, in part due to a lack of quantitative information regarding their habitat requirements. Species distribution models (SDMs) can facilitate conservation planning by allowing researchers to estimate ...

Composition of chloroform extractable surface wax from fruit was determined by GC and GC/MS. The major components of Saskatoon berry wax were nonacosan‐10‐ol and nonacosane. Canadian sour cherry wax was enriched in the pentacyclic triterpenoids and haskap in nonacosan‐10‐ol and nonacosan‐5,10,‐diol. Red twinberry wax contained triterpenoids.
