Cardiac glycosides from Corchorus olitorius
Journal of the Chemical Society, Perkin Transactions 1, 1989Besides identification of gluco-(1 → 6)-olitoriside and olitoriside, the structures of olitoriusin and erysimoside isolated from the seeds of Corchorus olitorius were proposed to be strophanthidin 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-β-D-digitoxoside (2) and strophanthidin 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-β-D-digitoxoside (4).

SEED PRODUCTION IN CORCHORUS OLITORIUS
Acta Horticulturae, 1983Sixteen Corchorus olitorius accessions were field evaluated to provide basic information on seed production. Dry seed yields per plant ranged from 9.8g to 235.0g among 15 accessions grown during the dry season (November 1980February 1981) in contrast to 2.6g produced by a commercial cultivar (oniyaya) in the previous rainy season (March -May 1980).

Cardenolide glycosides from seeds of Corchorus olitorius
Phytochemistry, 1998Three new cardenolide glycosides were isolated from the seeds of Corchorus olitorius L. On the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence, their structures were established as cannogenol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-O-beta-D-boivinopyranoside, periplogenin 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-O-beta-D-digitoxopyranoside and digitoxigenin 3-O-beta-D-
