Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Analysis and Optimization of Rubber Core Structure of Rotary BOP

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2021
Rotary blowout preventer(BOP)is a key equipment for underbalanced drilling, and its sealing performance is an important factor to ensure safety during operation under pressure. The existing domestic-made rotary BOPs have problems such as weak rubber core

Inverse problem for the Earth's core evolution model

open access: yesRussian Journal of Earth Sciences, 2020
The size and the age of the inner core impose constraints in modeling of the Earth's core evolution. The origin of the solid core corresponds to the change in convection regime in the core and, correspondingly, to the change in the magnetic field ...

Near-Infrared Imaging Polarimetry of the Serpens Cloud Core: Magnetic Field Structure, Outflows, and Inflows in A Cluster Forming Clump

open access: yes, 2010
We made deep NIR imaging polarimetry toward the Serpens cloud core. The polarization vector maps enable us to newly detect 24 small IR reflection nebulae with YSOs.

Magnetic Field Properties About Core Change [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Institute of Electrical and Electronic Material Engineers, 2012
In this paper, it tried to develop the core sensor for detection of micro magnetic field in electric wires. The sensor is non contact type and is consisted of ferrite core for low price. To investigate their properties for variations of current, it changed the number of winding and the length of sample core, it examined, to check the live wire ...

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

The influence of regularization on the geomagnetic core field modeling

open access: yes地球与行星物理论评
Earth's magnetic field is generated through the dynamo action in the liquid outer core. Using observational data from geomagnetic satellites and observatories, we can construct geomagnetic models that describe spatial and temporal variations of the core ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
