Melt Electrowriting of Poly(dioxanone) Filament Using a Multi‐Axis Robot
For the first time, a medical polymer called poly(dioxanone) is processed using melt electrowriting. This is achieved using a filament‐feeding system that differs from the more common pressurized air approaches. Mounting this type of print head onto a multi‐axis robot with a spherical collector results in nonplanar MEW structures.

KLF4 (Krüppel‐like factor 4) plays a protective role in blood–brain barrier (BBB). KLF4 plays an ambiguous role in the central nervous system. KLF4 in the BBB endothelial cells could be a potential target for Alzheimer's disease. Abstract Alzheimer's disease is the most prevalent chronic neurodegenerative disorder worldwide, with no sufficient cure ...

Fabrication and Bioactivity of Peptide‐Conjugated Biomaterial Tissue Engineering Constructs
Various fabrication techniques can be used to form tissue engineering constructs. These constructs can be conjugated with peptides in a straightforward fashion providing them with bioactivity. Peptides afford distinct advantages over other techniques for imparting bioactivity making peptide‐conjugated constructs excellent candidates to improve healing ...

ABSTRACT Senkyunolide I (Sen I) has a protective effect on the blood–brain barrier (BBB) in rats with sepsis‐associated encephalopathy (SAE). This study investigated whether Sen I regulates Nrf2 to ameliorate sepsis‐induced brain dysfunction (SIBD). Sixty rats were randomly assigned into Sham group, SAE group (Model group), SAE + Sen I group (72 mg/kg,
