ABSTRACT Sepsis‐related liver injury (SRLI) involves multiple interrelated pathological processes, including excessive inflammation, oxidative imbalance, mitochondrial dysfunction, dysregulated autophagy, and microcirculatory impairment. Increasing evidence indicates that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)–based interventions, particularly Chinese ...

Drought stress (DS) is the most damaging climatic factor that hinders the growth and ornamental quality of floricultural crops. Improving the floricultural crop's ability to withstand DS is of great importance to the ornamental plants industry. Moringa leaf extract (MLE) as a biostimulant has been reported to improve the DS tolerance in various ...

Heterogeneity of iridoid biosynthesis in catmints: Molecular background in a phylogenetic context
Evolutionary gains and losses of key biosynthetic genes likely resulting from multiple independent evolutionary events explain why certain Nepeta (catnip) species produce both the active, cat‐attracting nepetalactones and sugar‐bound iridoids, while others make only the sugar‐bound forms, and some have lost iridoid production entirely.

Pyroptosis in Peripheral Neuropathy: From Molecular Mechanisms to Therapeutic Targeting
Pyroptosis is a key inflammatory cell death pathway in peripheral neuropathy, with opposing roles: it perpetuates neuropathic pain but can be induced to kill neuroblastoma cells. This review consolidates mechanistic understanding and therapeutic strategies, arguing for a shift from disease‐centric to target‐centric treatment approaches to improve ...

Four pairs of tautomers from rhizomes of Acorus calamus and fruits of Cornus officinalis
A pair of new guaiane-type sesquiterpene tautomers (1) was isolated from rhizomes of Acorus calamus. Meanwhile, three pairs of known compounds, including a pair of dihydroflavone glycoside tautomers (2), a pair of 4-hydroxybenzoic acid ester glycoside ...
