Precision environmental medicine: Integrated multi‐exposure transcriptomics for shared molecular networks in COPD pathogenesis in response to environmental exposure

This integrated systems biology study of 2847 exposure‐related genes identifies a conserved 647‐gene core and CYP1B1 hub across cigarette smoke, ozone, and PM2.5. Abstract Ritonavir (RTV) is a potent CYP3A inhibitor that is widely used as a pharmacokinetic (PK) enhancer to increase exposure to select protease inhibitors. However, as a strong and complex perpetrator of CYP3A interactions, RTV can also enhance the exposure of other co‐administered CYP3A substrates, potentially causing toxicity.
