Circular optimal trade-off and distance-classifier correlation filters

open access: yes, 2000
We use circular versions of advanced distortion-invariant filters such as optimal trade-off synthetic discriminant function and distance classifier correlation filters to obtain rotation invariance with an optical correlator. The filter noise performance

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Robust Scale Adaptive Visual Tracking with Correlation Filters

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
Visual tracking is a challenging task in computer vision due to various appearance changes of the target object. In recent years, correlation filter plays an important role in visual tracking and many state-of-the-art correlation filter based trackers ...

Rational filter design for depth from defocus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The paper describes a new, simple procedure to determine the rational filters that are used in the depth from defocus (DfD) procedure previously researched by Watanabe and Nayar [4].

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Reliable Recognition of Partially Occluded Objects with Correlation Filters

open access: yes, 2018
Design of conventional correlation filters requires explicit knowledge of the appearance and shape of a target object, so the performance of correlation filters is significantly affected by changes in the appearance of the object in the input scene.

Localisation of mobile nodes in wireless networks with correlated in time measurement noise. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Wireless sensor networks are an inherent part of decision making, object tracking and location awareness systems. This work is focused on simultaneous localisation of mobile nodes based on received signal strength indicators (RSSIs) with correlated in ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Correlation Filters With Adaptive Multiple Contexts for Visual Tracking

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The local contexts define the target and its surrounding background within a constrained region, and have been proved useful for visual tracking, but how to adaptively employ them for building robust models remains challenging.
