Duality in twisted N=4 supersymmetric gauge theories in four dimensions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
We consider a twisted version of the four-dimensional N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory with gauge groups SU(2) and SO(3), and bare masses for two of its chiral multiplets, thereby breaking N=4 down to N=2. Using the wall-crossing technique introduced

Kinetic theory for classical and quantum many-body chaos. [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2018
For perturbative scalar field theories, the late-time-limit of the out-of-time-ordered correlation function that measures (quantum) chaos is shown to be equal to a Boltzmann-type kinetic equation that measures the total gross (instead of net) particle ...

Deciphering the Origin of Higher Shell Coordination on Single Iron Catalysts for Resilient Modulating Persulfate Oxidation Into Singlet Oxygen Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
This study reveals that higher shell S coordination can effectively modulate the spin state of FeN4 site via long‐range electronic interactions, giving rise to the oriented generation of singlet oxygen from peroxymonosulfate activation. Abstract Precise manipulation of coordination structure of single‐atom sites and establishment of schematic ...

Real-Time Trading System Based on Selections of Potentially Profitable, Uncorrelated, and Balanced Stocks by NP-Hard Combinatorial Optimization

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Financial portfolio construction problems are often formulated as quadratic and discrete (combinatorial) optimization that belong to the nondeterministic polynomial time (NP)-hard class in computational complexity theory.

Electromagnetic current correlations in reduced quantum electrodynamics

open access: yes, 2012
We consider a theory of massless reduced quantum electrodynamics (RQED$_{d_\gamma,d_e}$), e.g., a quantum field theory where the U(1) gauge field lives in $d_\gamma$-spacetime dimensions while the fermionic field lives in a reduced spacetime of $d_e ...

Off‐Stoichiometry Engineering of the Electrical and Optical Properties of SrNbO3 Using Oxide Molecular Beam Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The plasma edge of transparent conducting oxide SrNbO3 shifts from ∼2 eV in the visible range to 1.37 eV in the near‐infrared region by off‐stoichiometry using the vacancy sites as quasi‐substitutional virtual elements. This work advances the stoichiometry engineering of perovskite oxides using oxide molecular beam epitaxy, allowing synthesis beyond ...

Spectral form factor as an OTOC averaged over the Heisenberg group

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
We prove that in bosonic quantum mechanics the two-point spectral form factor can be obtained as an average of the two-point out-of-time ordered correlation function, with the average taken over the Heisenberg group.

Green's-function theory of the Heisenberg ferromagnet in a magnetic field

open access: yes, 2004
We present a second-order Green's-function theory of the one- and two-dimensional S=1/2 ferromagnet in a magnetic field based on a decoupling of three-spin operator products, where vertex parameters are introduced and determined by exact relations.
