Three-Particle Azimuthal Correlations [PDF]
Two-particle azimuthal correlations in central Au+Au collisional at RHIC have revealed a broadened away-side structure, with respect to perpherial Au+Au, pp, and d+Au.

Extractable Work from Correlations [PDF]
Work and quantum correlations are two fundamental resources in thermodynamics and quantum information theory. In this work we study how to use correlations among quantum systems to optimally store work.

Complementarity and correlations
We provide an interpretation of entanglement based on classical correlations between measurement outcomes of complementary properties: states that have correlations beyond a certain threshold are entangled. The reverse is not true, however.

On exact overlaps in integrable spin chains
We compute the exact overlaps between integrable boundary states and on-shell Bethe states for integrable spin chains. Our method is based on the coordinate Bethe Ansatz and does not rely on the “rotation trick” of the corresponding lattice model.

Magneto-optical study of metamagnetic transitions in the antiferromagnetic phase of α-RuCl3
α-RuCl3 is a promising candidate material to realize the so far elusive quantum spin liquid ground state. However, at low temperatures, the coexistence of different exchange interactions couple the effective pseudospins into an antiferromagnetically ...

Gluonic Correlations in Matter [PDF]
We derive the analogue of the QCD low energy theorems for the scalar and pseudoscalar gluonic correlators in nuclear matter. We find that the scalar correlations are depleted while the pseudoscalar correlations are enhanced to leading order in the ...

Correlations Without Synchrony [PDF]
Peaks in spike train correlograms are usually taken as indicative of spike timing synchronization between neurons. Strictly speaking, however, a peak merely indicates that the two spike trains were not independent.

Correlations around an interface [PDF]
We compute one-loop correlation functions for the fluctuations of an interface using a field theory model. We obtain them from Feynman diagrams drawn with a propagator which is the inverse of the Hamiltonian of a Poschl-Teller problem.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

Laser-noise-induced correlations and anti-correlations in Electromagnetically Induced Transparency
High degrees of intensity correlation between two independent lasers were observed after propagation through a rubidium vapor cell in which they generate Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT).
