The local Langlands correspondence for inner forms of SL_n

open access: yes, 2016
Let F be a non-archimedean local field. We establish the local Langlands correspondence for all inner forms of the group SLn(F). It takes the form of a bijection between, on the one hand, conjugacy classes of Langlands parameters for SLn(F) enhanced with ...

String/Gauge Duality and Penrose Limit [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Berenstein, Maldacena, and Nastase have recently discovered a particular limit of AdS/CFT correspondence where string theory in a plane wave background is dual to a sector of $mathcal N =4 SYM in a double scaling limit.

Korrespondensie of koherensie?

open access: yesKoers : Bulletin for Christian Scholarship, 1991
Apart from the pragmatic , the performative , and the existentialist theorie s of truth, the correspondence theory and the coherence theory of truth are of special importance in any discussion about scientific truth.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Introduction to AdS/CFT correspondence

open access: yes, 2015
Providing a pedagogical introduction to the rapidly developing field of AdS/CFT correspondence, this is one of the first texts to provide an accessible introduction to all the necessary concepts needed to engage with the methods, tools and applications ...

de Sitter symmetries and inflationary scalar-vector models

open access: yesUniversitas Scientiarum, 2016
In this paper, we study the correspondence between a field theory in de Sitter space in D-dimensions and a dual conformal field theory in a euclidean space in (D − 1)-dimensions.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Five-dimensional gauge theory and compactification on a torus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We study five-dimensional minimally supersymmetric gauge theory compactified on a torus down to three dimensions, and its embedding into string/M-theory using geometric engineering.

Energetic correspondence principle in gravitation theory

open access: yes, 2020
The correspondence between various quantities in the general theory of relativity in Newtonian theory is analyzed. The analysis is carried out in a proper reference frame of a single Fermi observer.
