AbstractCorrosion fatigue refers to the phenomenon of cracking in materials under the combined actions of fatigue loading and a corrosive environment. This article focuses on the various mechanisms of corrosion fatigue, namely, hydrogen-assisted cracking, anodic dissolution, and surface energy reduction.
