More scalings from cosmic strings
We analyze all individual cosmic strings of various lengths in a large ensemble of the global cosmic string networks in the post-inflationary scenario, obtained from numerical simulations on a discrete lattice with N 3 = 40963.

ABSTRACT This invited paper gives an overview of the challenges the world is facing and offers a possible solution for water and food security within the holistic integrated concept of the water–energy–food (WEF) nexus. The paper summarizes the experience the author gained through working on various research projects at national and international ...

ABSTRACT This article examines the future place of humanistic counseling, assuming the successful mass deployment of artificial intelligence therapy chatbots (AITCs). We systematically identify the limitations of AITCs through the lens of Jean Baudrillard's view on simulacra and hyperreality and identify five collective psychosocial consequences of ...

Evolution of Cosmic System [PDF]
What does it mean that the cosmic radio wave flux density varies with the passage of time is an interesting question; the radio wave is of the quasar, a system of galaxy, which is distributed in our universe from a few billions of light years to the distanse close to the big bang age and has been radiating immense electromagnetic energy from it by the ...

ABSTRACT The timing and spatial patterns of glaciers retreat in the Northern French Alps during the Lateglacial (19.0–11.7 ka) remain debated, reflecting discrepancies among available chronological data sets. The complex interactions between major glaciers, such as the Rhône and Arve glaciers to the north and the Isère glacier to the south, represent a

ABSTRACT Glaciokarst landscapes pose distinctive challenges for cosmogenic dating because meltwater and runoff can be rapidly rerouted into ponors and conduit networks, weakening glacier–river coupling and promoting local sediment storage. We reconstruct glacier retreat and postglacial stabilization on the Snežnik Plateau (SW Slovenia) using in situ ...

The Cosmic Evolution of Giant Radiosources
We describe the first complete sample of giant (D ∼ 1 Mpc) radiosource selected at high redshift. Contrary to previous expectations, such sources remain common in the population at least out to z ≈ 1. We find that giants exist exclusively in low density environments, and we discuss the implications of the existence of such environments at high redshift

Robust quantification in noncontact Raman sensing requires dedicated correction of working distance dependent background effects, while laser power variations are readily stabilized using internal reference signals. Chemically relevant Raman intensity can be preserved for bulk composition measurements, under variable laser power and working distance ...

Confocal Raman microscopy combined with multivariate analysis distinguishes cisplatin‐resistant and ‐sensitive tubo‐ovarian high‐grade serous carcinoma cell lines. ABSTRACT Chemoresistance is a major obstacle to effective cancer treatment, particularly in tubo‐ovarian high‐grade serous carcinoma (HGSC), the most lethal gynaecological malignancy ...
