Evolution of the cosmic web [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2014
The cosmic web is the largest scale manifestation of the anisotropic gravitational collapse of matter. It represents the transitional stage between linear and non-linear structures and contains easily accessible information about the early phases of structure formation processes.

Decoding Triphenotypic Neutrophils in Cervical Cancer Evolution and Targeting SPP1+/GBP1+/ELOVL5+ Tumor‐Associated Neutrophils to Sensitize Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The functional schematic diagram of tumor associated neutrophils. Abstract Enhancing cervical cancer (CC) immunotherapy requires deciphering the heterogeneous tumor immune microenvironment (TIME), particularly neutrophil phenotypic dynamics. Here, 1) we collected 543 CC cases to find that patients with elevated neutrophil levels have a higher incidence

Probing the gravitational wave background from cosmic strings with the alternative LISA-TAIJI network

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
As one of the detection targets of all gravitational wave detectors today, the stochastic gravitational wave background (SGWB) provides an important means of understanding the evolution of our universe.

Pregalactic LiBeB Production by Supernova Cosmic Rays

open access: yes, 2008
I calculate the evolution of Be and B abundances produced by cosmic rays generated by massive stars in the pregalactic phase of the universe. The inputs for calculation, i.e.

Causal Prediction of TP53 Variant Pathogenicity Using a Perturbation‐Informed Protein Language Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A TP53‐specific predictor, CaVepP53, is developed by fine‐tuning ESMC on experimentally validated variants, quantifying pathogenicity via Euclidean distances. It outperforms general‐purpose models and extends to five cancer genes, enabling interpretable variant classification for precision medicine.

Stellar black holes: cosmic history and feedback at the dawn of the universe

open access: yes, 2010
Significant historic cosmic evolution for the formation rate of stellar black holes is inferred from current theoretical models of the evolution of massive stars, the multiple observations of compact stellar remnants in the near and distant universe, and

String Imprints from a Pre-inflationary Era [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We derive the equations governing the dynamics of cosmic strings in a flat anisotropic universe of Bianchi type I and study the evolution of simple cosmic string loop solutions.

Context‐Dependent Role of GDF15: GDF15+ Tumor‐Associated Macrophages Suppress OSCC Progression by Enhancing Phagocytosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies GDF15+ TAMs as a cell subset mediating tumor regression after immunotherapy. Macrophage‐intrinsic GDF15 enhances phagocytosis and antigen cross‐presentation to CD8+ T cells through the NF‐κB signaling pathway, thereby inhibiting tumor progression.

Cosmic Evolution of Gas and Star Formation

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2023
Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) observations of the long-wavelength dust continuum are used to estimate the gas masses in a sample of 708 star-forming galaxies at z = 0.3−4.5.

The Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Effect by Cocoons of Radio Galaxies [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We estimate the deformation of the cosmic microwave background radiation by the hot region (``cocoon'') around a radio galaxy. A simple model is adopted for cocoon evolution while the jet is on, and a model of evolution is constructed after the jet is ...
