Network Cosmology [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2012
Prediction and control of the dynamics of complex networks is a central problem in network science. Structural and dynamical similarities of different real networks suggest that some universal laws might accurately describe the dynamics of these networks, albeit the nature and common origin of such laws remain elusive.

COSMOLOGICAL ZITTERBEWEGUNG [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics D, 2013
We describe a new phenomenon of zitterbewegung of a free Dirac particle in cosmological spacetimes. Unlike the similar effect theorized by Schrödinger in 1930, the cosmological zitterbewegung is a real, physically attainable effect, which originates from the mixing of positive and negative frequency modes of a field operator in cosmological spacetimes.

The Atacama Cosmology Telescope: DR4 maps and cosmological parameters [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2020
We present new arcminute-resolution maps of the Cosmic Microwave Background temperature and polarization anisotropy from the Atacama Cosmology Telescope, using data taken from 2013–2016 at 98 and 150 GHz. The maps cover more than 17,000 deg2, the deepest

RASTALL COSMOLOGY [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics: Conference Series, 2012
We review the difficulties of the generalized Chaplygin gas model to fit observational data, due to the tension between background and perturbative tests. We argue that such issues may be circumvented by means of a self-interacting scalar field representation of the model.

Tachyon field in loop cosmology

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
The evolutionary pictures of tachyon field in modified loop cosmology have been investigated. We present the dynamical behavior of the tachyon field associated with an exponential potential and find that the pre-inflation dynamics are very similar in ...

KiDS-1000 Cosmology: Multi-probe weak gravitational lensing and spectroscopic galaxy clustering constraints [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics, 2020
We present a joint cosmological analysis of weak gravitational lensing observations from the Kilo-Degree Survey (KiDS-1000), with redshift-space galaxy clustering observations from the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) and galaxy-galaxy ...

Three-Year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) Observations: Implications for Cosmology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A simple cosmological model with only six parameters (matter density, Ωmh2, baryon density, Ωbh2, Hubble constant, H0, amplitude of fluctuations, σ8, optical depth, τ, and a slope for the scalar perturbation spectrum, ns) fits not only the 3 year WMAP ...

KiDS-1000 cosmology: Cosmic shear constraints and comparison between two point statistics [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics, 2020
We present cosmological constraints from a cosmic shear analysis of the fourth data release of the Kilo-Degree Survey (KiDS-1000), which doubles the survey area with nine-band optical and near-infrared photometry with respect to previous KiDS analyses ...

Homogeneous cosmologies with a cosmological constant [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1999
Spatially homogeneous cosmological models with a positive cosmological constant are investigated, using dynamical systems methods. We focus on the future evolution of these models. In particular, we address the question whether there are models within this class that are de Sitter-like in the future, but are tilted.

Modified Gravity and Cosmology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this review we present a thoroughly comprehensive survey of recent work on modified theories of gravity and their cosmological consequences. Amongst other things, we cover General Relativity, scalar–tensor, Einstein–aether, and Bimetric theories, as ...
