COSMOLOGICAL ZITTERBEWEGUNG [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics D, 2013
We describe a new phenomenon of zitterbewegung of a free Dirac particle in cosmological spacetimes. Unlike the similar effect theorized by Schrödinger in 1930, the cosmological zitterbewegung is a real, physically attainable effect, which originates from the mixing of positive and negative frequency modes of a field operator in cosmological spacetimes.

Observational constraints on the fractal cosmology

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
In this paper, we explore a fractal model of the universe proposed by Calcagni (J High Energy Phys 03:120, 2010) for a power-counting renormalizable field theory living in a fractal spacetime.

Extending cosmology: the metric approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this chapter it is shown how the introduction of a fundamental constant of nature with dimensions of acceleration into the theory of gravity makes it possible to extend gravity in a very consistent manner.Comment: 2012, Extending Cosmology: The Metric

Network Cosmology [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2012
Prediction and control of the dynamics of complex networks is a central problem in network science. Structural and dynamical similarities of different real networks suggest that some universal laws might accurately describe the dynamics of these networks, albeit the nature and common origin of such laws remain elusive.

THE COSMOLOGICAL SPACETIME [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics D, 2009
We present here the transformations required to recast the Robertson–Walker metric and Friedmann–Robertson–Walker equations in terms of observer-dependent coordinates for several commonly assumed cosmologies. The overriding motivation is the derivation of explicit expressions for the radius Rh of our cosmic horizon in terms of measurable quantities ...

Brane Cosmology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
The aim of these lectures is to give a brief introduction to brane cosmology. After introducing some basic geometrical notions, we discuss the cosmology of a brane universe with matter localized on the brane.

Comparison of the relationship between cosmology and political thought in ancient Iran and ancient Greece. [PDF]

open access: yesرهیافتهای سیاسی و بین المللی, 2020
We know that political thought in Iran and the West has grown in two different contexts. In Iran, political thought is in the context of religious cosmology and in the West, in the context of philosophical cosmology.

The concept of fractal cosmos, I: Anaxagoras’ cosmology [PDF]

open access: yesSerbian Astronomical Journal, 2001
The concept of a fractal cosmos occupies a prominent position in the modern cosmology. We trace the development of this concept from the presocratic Greece to the present state of affairs.
