KiDS-1000 cosmology: Cosmic shear constraints and comparison between two point statistics [PDF]
We present cosmological constraints from a cosmic shear analysis of the fourth data release of the Kilo-Degree Survey (KiDS-1000), which doubles the survey area with nine-band optical and near-infrared photometry with respect to previous KiDS analyses ...

Modified Gravity and Cosmology [PDF]
General Relativity and the $\Lambda$CDM framework are currently the standard lore and constitute the concordance paradigm. Nevertheless, long-standing open theoretical issues, as well as possible new observational ones arising from the explosive ...

Prediction and control of the dynamics of complex networks is a central problem in network science. Structural and dynamical similarities of different real networks suggest that some universal laws might accurately describe the dynamics of these networks, albeit the nature and common origin of such laws remain elusive.

Tachyon field in loop cosmology
The evolutionary pictures of tachyon field in modified loop cosmology have been investigated. We present the dynamical behavior of the tachyon field associated with an exponential potential and find that the pre-inflation dynamics are very similar in ...

Abstract We show that the potential of Nambu-Goldstone bosons can have two or more local minima e.g. at antipodal positions in the vacuum manifold. This happens in many models of composite Higgs and of composite Dark Matter. Trigonometric potentials lead to unusual features, such as symmetry non-restoration at high temperature.

Late-time cosmology with phantom dark-energy in f(Q) gravity [PDF]
Motivated by the exciting features and a recent proposed general form of the function of non-metricity scalar Q, we investigate the cosmological implications in f(Q) gravity, through the resulting effective dark energy sector, extracting analytical ...

String cosmology in Bianchi I space-time [PDF]
Some cosmological solutions of massive strings are obtained in Bianchi I space-time following the techniques used by Letelier and Stachel. A class of solutions corresponds to string cosmology associated with/without a magnetic field and the other class ...

COSMOLOGY IN ISLAM, CONSTRUCTING ISLAMIZATION OF NATURE SCIENCE
Cosmology is one of the philosophical and scientific objects that become attention in Greek philosophers, especially Aristotle. However, with the times, this cosmology was found in The Qur’an, exactly in the concept of the sky and earth creation which ...

In the approach of Causal Dynamical Triangulations (CDT), quantum gravity is obtained as a scaling limit of a non-perturbative path integral over space-times whose causal structure plays a crucial role in the construction. After some general considerations about the relation between quantum gravity and cosmology, we examine which aspects of CDT are ...
