Single-carrier phase-disposition PWM techniques for multiple interleaved voltage-source converter legs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Interleaved converter legs are typically modulated with individual carriers per leg and phase-shifted PWM (PS-PWM) as it facilitates current balancing amongst the legs.

Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...

Hybrid Switched Capacitor Three Winding Coupled Inductor High Step-Up DC-DC Converter

open access: yesIEEE Access
Switched capacitor cells have been studied in recent years. These approaches allow different new topologies to be generated. One such technique is the hybrid converter, where a coupled inductor and switched capacitor can be combined. Thus, in this paper,

Discontinuous design of negative index metamaterials based on mode hybridization

open access: yes, 2012
An electric inductor-capacitor (ELC) resonator provides a series of electrical resonances and a pair of ELC resonators leads to the split of each resonance into two modes, i.e., magnetic and electric modes, corresponding to antisymmetric and symmetric ...

Substrate specificity of Burkholderia pseudomallei multidrug transporters is influenced by the hydrophilic patch in the substrate‐binding pocket

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Multidrug transporters BpeB and BpeF from the Gram‐negative pathogen Burkholderia pseudomallei have a hydrophilic patch in their substrate‐binding pocket. Drug susceptibility tests and growth curve analyses using an Escherichia coli recombinant expression system revealed that the hydrophilic patches of BpeB and BpeF are involved in the substrate ...

A Coupled Inductor Based High Voltage Gain DC-DC Converter Using Interleaved Voltage Multiplier Cells

open access: yesIranian Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2020
In this work, a non-isolated high step up DC-DC converter using coupled inductor and voltage multiplier cell is proposed. The proposed converter conversion ratio is efficiently extended by using a coupled inductor.

High Step-up Coupled Inductor Inverters Based on qSBIs

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
In this paper, two types of high step-up coupled inductor inverters based on qSBIs (quasi- switched boost inverters) are proposed. By applying the coupled inductor to the qSBIs, the voltage gain of the proposed inverter is regulated by turn ratio and ...

A novel high step-up secondary side impedance source full-bridge converter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In order to suppress the voltage stress of semiconductor devices, and solve the reverse recovery problem of diodes by decreasing the duty cycle of switches, impedance source converters could be consider as a solution.

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

X-Y converter family: A new breed of buck boost converter for high step-up renewable energy applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A new breed of a buck boost converter, named as the XY converter family is proposed in this article. In the XY family, 16 topologies are presented which are highly suitable for renewable energy applications which require a high ratio of DC-DC converter ...
