Coupled fixed point theorems in complete metric spaces endowed with a directed graph and application

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2017
The purpose of this paper is to present some existence results for coupled fixed point of a (φ,ψ) —contractive condition for mixed monotone operators in metric spaces endowed with a directed graph.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Generalized compatibility in partially ordered metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yesSurveys in Mathematics and its Applications, 2016
In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized compatibility of a pair of mappings F,G:X× X→ X, where (X,d) is a partially ordered metric space.

Coupled coincidence points for compatible mappings satisfying mixed monotone property

open access: yesJournal of Nonlinear Sciences and Applications, 2012
We establish coupled coincidence and coupled fixed point results for a pair of mappings satisfying a compatibility hypothesis in partially ordered metric spaces. An example is given to illustrate our obtained results.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Coupled coincidence and coupled common fixed point theorem in dislocated quasi metric space

open access: yesEngineering and Applied Science Letters, 2020
The objective of this paper is to establish a theorem involving a pair of weakly compatible mappings fulfilling a contractive condition of rational type in the context of dislocated quasi metric space. Besides we proved the existence and uniqueness of coupled coincidence and coupled common fixed point for such mappings.

Soma-Axon Coupling Configurations That Enhance Neuronal Coincidence Detection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Coincidence detector neurons transmit timing information by responding preferentially to concurrent synaptic inputs. Principal cells of the medial superior olive (MSO) in the mammalian auditory brainstem are superb coincidence detectors.

K-Chameleon and the Coincidence Problem

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper we present a hybrid model of k-essence and chameleon, named as k-chameleon. In this model, due to the chameleon mechanism, the directly strong coupling between the k-chameleon field and matters (cold dark matters and baryons) is allowed. In

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Hybrid Coupled Fixed Point Theorems in Metric Spaces with Applications

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2019
In this manuscript, using CLR property, coupled coincidence and common coupled fixed point results for two-hybrid pairs satisfying (F,φ)- contraction are demonstrated.
