Modeling and design of transformers and coupled inductors
Proceedings Eighth Annual Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition,, 2002The modeling and design of transformers and coupled inductors are discussed. After a brief review of Maxwell's laws and magnetic circuit models, the magnetic and electric models of transformers and coupled inductors are developed, including both magnetizing and leakage effects.

Modeling of mutual coupling between inductors
2015 IEEE Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility and Signal Integrity, 2015This paper is devoted to EMI filter inductor modeling and mutual coupling modeling between two inductors positioned on PCB. 3D inductor models are developed and modeled in CST MWS. Comparison of inductors mutual coupling measurement and modeling results show that transfer coefficients can be predicted accurately.

Magnetically Coupled Circuit with Nonlinear Inductor
2018 International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications (ICEAA), 2018This paper introduces a magnetically coupled circuit with the Josephson junction, the key feature is the nonlinear inductance. The circuit equations are formulated in state variables and simulations illustrate the current – voltage dynamics for different sets of parameters.

Introduction to modeling of transformers and coupled inductors
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 1995A tutorial paper is presented on modeling and design of transformers and coupled inductors. Beginning with a brief review of electromagnetic laws and magnetic circuit models, the magnetic and electric models of transformers and coupled inductors are developed, including both magnetizing and leakage effects.

On the energy approach to the theory of coupled inductors
European Transactions on Electrical Power, 1998AbstractThe paper presents a revisited energy approach to the theory of a set of n coupled inductors. The hybrid constitutive relations are analyzed. It is shown that the fundamental relation expressing the energy of the system requires a minimum number of coupling terms if a set of hybrid independent variables is adopted.

Surrogate-based optimization of coupled inductors
COMPEL - The international journal for computation and mathematics in electrical and electronic engineeringPurpose The purpose of this paper is to present an application-specific optimization methodology for the design of coupled inductors used in multilevel interleaved power converters. This study focuses on minimizing core losses to meet power density requirements, reducing component volume to address cost ...
