Coupled Inductors Analysis with Saturation and Thermal Effects
2020 27th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (ICECS), 2020This paper discusses the analysis of Coupled Inductors (CIs) in Switch-Mode Power Supplies (SMPSs), with saturation and thermal effects. A Single-Ended Primary Inductor Converter (SEPIC) topology is considered as a case study and a numerical procedure is proposed to reliably evaluate the CI windings current waveforms, including the effects of the real ...

High Step-Down Nonisolated DC–DC Converter With Coupled Inductors
IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics, 2021High step-down nonisolated dc–dc converter with coupled inductors is proposed. The converter is used a simple lossless clamping circuit. Moreover, it produces the current ripple cancelation at the output due to series connection between the coupled ...

Coupled Inductors for Fast-Response High-Density Power Delivery: Discrete and Integrated
IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference, 2021Multiphase interleaved buck converters benefit from coupling inductors between phases. The coupling fundamentally alters the trade-offs between ripple current, loss, energy storage, and transient response, enabling improvements in one or more of these ...

Zero-Voltage Transition Nonisolated Bidirectional Buck–Boost DC–DC Converter With Coupled Inductors
IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics, 2021This article presents a new zero-voltage transition (ZVT) pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) bidirectional dc–dc buck–boost converter. The main features of the suggested converter are simple control, simple structure, and the reduction of stresses on the power ...

Investigation of MMIC inductor coupling effects
1997 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 1997The coupling effects of two closely placed coplanar spiral inductors are investigated using the FDTD method. Different configurations of two inductors are simulated and the simulation results are compared with measurements. The investigations show an unexpected high impact of the orientation of the coils to the coupling of the two inductors.

COUPLED INDUCTORS-BASED CHAOTIC COLPITTS OSCILLATOR
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2011In this paper, a new chaotic circuit is introduced, conceived by considering a Colpitts oscillator with the inclusion of two further elements: a coupled inductor and a variable resistor. The proposed circuit exhibits a rich dynamics that has been experimentally characterized through the bifurcation diagram with respect to the resistor value.
