The Coupling Coordination Degree of Marine Economy-Society-Ecology System in China

open access: yesHaiyang Kaifa yu guanli, 2023
Judging the coordinated development trend of China's marine economy-society-ecology system has important strategic decision-making reference value for promoting the high-quality development of China's marine economy.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Emergent properties hidden in plane view: Strong electronic correlations at oxide interfaces

open access: yes, 2014
Finding new collective electronic states in materials is one of the fundamental goals of condensed matter physics. Atomic-scale superlattices formed from transition metal oxides are a particularly appealing hunting ground for new physics.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Network Synchronization in a Noisy Environment with Time Delays: Fundamental Limits and Trade-Offs

open access: yes, 2010
We study the effects of nonzero time delays in stochastic synchronization problems with linear couplings in an arbitrary network. Using the known exact threshold value from the theory of differential equations with delays, we provide the ...

Network structure and dynamics of hydrogenated amorphous silicon

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper we discuss the application of current it ab initio computer simulation techniques to hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H). We begin by discussing thermal fluctuation in the number of coordination defects in the material, and its ...

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Interplay between structure and magnetism in the low-dimensional spin system $K(C_8H_{16}O_4)_2CuCl_3{*}H_2O$

open access: yes, 2017
Materials based on a crown ether complex together with magnetic ions, especially Cu(II), can be used to synthesize new low dimesional quantum spin systems. We have prepared the new crown ether complex Di-\mu-chloro-bis(12-crown-4)-aquqdichloro-copper(II)-
