Synthesis and Structural Characterization of [Ir4(m-CO)(CO)7{m4-h3-Ph2PC(H)C(Ph)PCBut}(m-PPh2)]: Alkyne-Phosphaalkyne Coupling and Formation of a Novel 2-phosphabutadienylphosphine Ligand

open access: yesJournal of the Brazilian Chemical Society, 1998
Reaction of [Ir4(mu-H)(CO)9(Ph2PCºCPh)(mu-PPh2)] 1 with PºCBu t in CH2Cl2, at 35 °C, for 4 h yields the novel compound [Ir4(mu-CO)(CO)7{mu4-eta³-Ph2PC(H)C(Ph)PCBu t}(mu-PPh2)] 2, which contains the 2-phosphabutadienylphosphine chain.

The Eschenmoser coupling reaction under continuous-flow conditions

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2011
The Eschenmoser coupling is a useful carbon–carbon bond forming reaction which has been used in various different synthesis strategies. The reaction proceeds smoothly if S-alkylated ternary thioamides or thiolactames are used.

Optimization of 3', 4'-Anhydrovinblastine Synthesis Using Crude Extracts of Irradiated with Near-Ultraviolet Light

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2016
Dimeric indole alkaloids (DIAs), such as vinblastine and vincristine, found in Catharanthus roseus are used clinically as antitumor drugs. A stable supply of DIAs is desired because these alkaloids are very expensive due to their low abundance in plants.

Silver-Catalyzed Decarboxylative Cross-coupling Radical Reaction: Direct Synthesis of Coenzyme Q Compounds

open access: yes, 2019
An efficient and general method for the synthesis of Coenzyme Q compounds through the activation of 1,4-benzoquinone Csp2-H bond has been developed. This C-C bond formation reaction proceeds readily in an open flask by direct cross-coupling reaction of ...
