The covering radius of Euclidean codes
International audienceThe Euclidean metric for block codes is an important parameter to consider when building Euclidean lattices by Construction A and spherical codes by the Yaglom map.

On the covering radius of cyclic linear codes and arithmetic codes
The problem of finding the covering radius and minimum distance of algebraic and arithmetic codes is shown to be related to Waring's problem in a finite field and to the theory of cyclotomic numbers.

A Location and Optimal Coverage Based Filtering Scheme in Wireless Sensor Networks
Injected false reports by attackers bring fateful consequences in wireless sensor networks, i.e., wasting the limited batteries of nodes and misleading the decision making of users.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Product Perfect Codes and Steganography
A new coding technique to be used in steganography is evaluated. The performance of this new technique is computed and comparisons with the well-known theoretical upper bound, Hamming upper bound and basic LSB are ...

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

More binary covering codes are normal
It is shown that every optimal binary code with covering radius R=1 is normal. This (parity) proves a conjecture of Cohen, Lobstein, and Sloane (1986). It is also proved that codes with minimal distance 2R or 2R+1 are normal. A generalization of Frankl's

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
