The string dual to two-dimensional Yang-Mills theory
We propose that chiral two-dimensional Yang-Mills theory on a Riemann surface is dual to a deformed stationary subsector of the Gromov-Witten theory of that surface.

Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

Fast generation and covering radius of Reed-Muller Codes [PDF]
Reed-Muller codes are known to be some of the oldest, simplest and most elegant error correcting codes. Reed-Muller codes were invented in 1954 by D. E. Muller and I. S.

Background Diagnoses entered by general practitioners into electronic medical records have great potential for research and practice, but unfortunately, diagnoses are often in uncoded format, making them of little use.

On the normality of multiple covering codes
A binary code \(C\) of length \(n\) is called a \(\mu\)-fold \(r\)-covering if every binary word of length \(n\) is within Hamming distance \(r\) of at least \(\mu\) codewords of \(C\). The author generalizes the concepts of subnormality and normality to \(\mu\)-fold coverings.

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Covering Codes with Improved Density
We prove a general recursive inequality concerning (R), the asymptotic (worst) density of the best binary covering codes of radius R. In particular, this inequality implies that (R) e (R log R+ log R+ log log R+ 2), which significantly improves the

New Quaternary Linear Codes with Covering Radius 2
A new quaternary linear code of length 19, codimension 5, and covering radius 2 is found in a computer search using tabu search, a local search heuristic.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
