Transgenic potato lines expressing CP4-EPSP synthase exhibit resistance against glyphosate

Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture (PCTOC), 2019
Potato crops are particularly vulnerable to weed competition from emergence to canopy closure and are subject to significant yield loss. Glyphosate is broad spectrum herbicide used to control weeds worldwide. In order to incorporate glyphosate resistant trait in four potato cultivars (Lady Olympia, Desiree, Agria and Granola), an efficient, cost ...

[Preparation and characterization of monoclonal antibody against CP4-EPSPS].

Xi bao yu fen zi mian yi xue za zhi = Chinese journal of cellular and molecular immunology, 2011
To prepare monoclonal antibody (mAb) against CP4-EPSPS, which could be applied to the development of gold colloidal rapid diagnostic kit for the specific detection of GMO.BALB/c mice were immunized with CP4-EPSPS. Splenocytes of the immunized mice were collected and fused with the mouse myeloma cell line Sp2/0 cells.

Transgenic rice expressing a codon-modified synthetic CP4-EPSPS confers tolerance to broad-spectrum herbicide, glyphosate

Plant Cell Reports, 2014
Highly tolerant herbicide-resistant transgenic rice was developed by expressing codon-modified synthetic CP4--EPSPS. The transformants could tolerate up to 1% commercial glyphosate and has the potential to be used for DSR (direct-seeded rice). Weed infestation is one of the major biotic stress factors that is responsible for yield loss in direct-seeded

Effect of dietary supplementation of recombinant Cry and Cp4 epsps proteins on haematological indices of growing rabbits

Journal of Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition, 2018
AbstractGenetically modified (GM) crops expressing insect resistance and herbicide tolerance provide a novel approach for improved crop production but their advent at the same time presents serious challenges in terms of food safety. Although prevailing scientific proof has suggested that transgenic crops are analogous to their conventional ...
