Assessment of genetically modified sugar beet KWS20‐1 (application GMFF‐2023‐14732) [PDF]
Genetically modified sugar beet KWS20‐1 was developed to confer tolerance to glyphosate‐, dicamba‐ and glufosinate‐ammonium‐based herbicides. These properties were achieved by introducing the cp4 epsps, dmo and pat expression cassettes.

Paternal chromosome elimination of inducer triggers induction of double haploids in Brassica napus [PDF]
A synthetic octoploid rapeseed, Y3380, induces maternal doubled haploids when used as a pollen donor to pollinate plant. However, the mechanism underlying doubled haploid formation remains elusive.

Expression patterns of cp4-epsps gene in diverse transgenic Saccharum officinarum L. genotypes. [PDF]
Glyphosate, a functional analogue of phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP), blocks the shikimate pathway by inhibiting the enzyme 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS; EC 2.5.1.19) through interference with the conversion of (shikimate-3-phosphate) S3P and PEP to 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate (EPSP) and subsequently leads to plant death.

Targeting the middle region of CP4-EPSPS protein for its traceability in highly processed soy-related products. [PDF]
Transgenic components in genetically modified organisms consist not only of the transgenic genes, but also the transgenic protein. However, compared with transgenic DNA, less attention has been paid to the detection of expressed protein, especially those degraded from genetically modified soybean after food processing.

Evaluation of the effects of feeding glyphosate-tolerant soybeans (CP4 EPSPS) on the testis of male Sprague-Dawley rats. [PDF]
Glyphosate tolerant soybeans represent a large portion of soybeans grown and fed to farm animals around the world. Despite their widespread use for many years, some have raised questions regarding their safety because the soybeans were genetically modified.

Glyphosate in agronomic performance and seed quality of soybean with cp4-EPSPs and cry1Ac genes
The “second generation” of glyphosate-tolerant soybean (GT2 soybean) was developed through a different technique of insertion of the glyphosate-insensitive EPSPs gene, in comparison with “first generation” of glyphosate-tolerant soybean. However, there
