Cr Stable Isotope Fractionation in Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Dandelion and Cr Uptake by Extraradical Mycelium [PDF]
As common soil fungi that form symbioses with most terrestrial plants, arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi play an important role in plant adaptation to chromium (Cr) contamination. However, little information is available on the underlying mechanisms of AM symbiosis on plant Cr resistance.

Models for Galactic cosmic-ray propagation [PDF]
A new numerical model of particle propagation in the Galaxy has been developed, which allows the study of cosmic-ray and gamma-ray production and propagation in 2D or 3D, including a full reaction network.

Hydrogen isotope analysis of coal is an important tool in the geochemical analysis of coal. The traditional method of hydrogen isotope analysis of coal requires the oxidation of organic matter bound hydrogen in coal to water by an oxidizing agent and ...

Determination of the s-wave Scattering Length of Chromium
We have measured the deca-triplet s-wave scattering length of the bosonic chromium isotopes $^{52}$Cr and $^{50}$Cr. From the time constants for cross-dimensional thermalization in atomic samples we have determined the magnitudes $|a(^{52}Cr)|=(170 \pm ...

Decay properties of 68,69,70Mn: Probing collectivity up to N=44 in Fe isotopic chain
The β decays Mn68→Fe68, Mn69→Fe69 and Mn70→Fe70 have been measured at the RIBF facility at RIKEN using the EURICA γ spectrometer combined with an active stopper consisting of a stack of Si detectors.

Shape transition and fluctuation in neutron-rich Cr isotopes around N = 40
The spherical-to-prolate shape transition in neutron-rich Cr isotopes from N = 34 to 42 is studied by solving the collective Schr\"odinger equation for the five-dimensional quadrupole collective Hamiltonian.

Efficacy of Trophic Transfer of Radioactive and Stable Isotopes of Metals to Zoobenthos-Feeding Fish of the Yenisei River [PDF]
Accumulation of radioactive and stable isotopes of metals in trophic chain of the Yenisei River leading to zoobenthivorous fish species, dace (Leuciscus leuciscus baicalensis) and grayling (Thymallus arcticus), have been investigated.

We analyse deformation mechanism in neutron-rich Cr, Fe and Ti isotopes with N=32-44 by means of a Skyrme-Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov mean-field code employing a two-dimensional mesh representation in the cylindrical coordinate system.

The segregation behavior of Cr in dilute Fe-Cr alloys is known to be anomalous since the main barrier for surface segregation of Cr in these alloys arises not from the topmost surface layer but from the subsurface layer where the solution energy of Cr is

This study demonstrates coherent control of 15N nuclear spins coupled to VB−${\text{V}}_{\text{B}}^{-}$ centers in isotope‐enriched hexagonal boron nitride. Selective addressing via spin‐state mixing enables Rabi driving, quantum gates, and coherence times exceeding 10 μs$\umu{\rm s}$.
