Stochastic thermodynamics for biological functions

open access: yesQuantitative Biology, Volume 13, Issue 1, March 2025.
Abstract Living systems operate within physical constraints imposed by nonequilibrium thermodynamics. This review explores recent advancements in applying these principles to understand the fundamental limits of biological functions. We introduce the framework of stochastic thermodynamics and its recent developments, followed by its application to ...

Attention‐Based MAPPO for Large‐Scale Sensor Scheduling in Multisource Localisation

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
Most existing heuristic algorithms encounter significant challenges when applied to large‐scale sensor systems, substantially limiting the advancement and practical implementation of multisource localisation technology in extensive scenarios. To address these limitations, we leverage the self‐learning capabilities of deep reinforcement learning (DRL ...

The estimate multiple as a result of priori links accounting. Generalization of Cramer-Rao inequality

open access: yesProceedings of the National Aviation University, 1998

Specification of Sensing Coverage Zones in Two‐Dimensional Acoustic Target Localization

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Target localization (positioning) by the time difference of arrival (TDoA) using previously localized wireless sensor nodes has wide applications. Three‐degree sensing coverage cannot calculate accurate spatial‐temporal information of the target object in two‐dimensional acoustic positioning.

Survey on coherent multiband splicing techniques for wideband channel characterization

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 18, Issue 19, Page 1319-1334, December 2024.
Coherent multi‐band splicing offers an effective approach, extending existing band‐limited communication systems to support high‐precision sensing applications by combining multiple narrow‐band measurements. However, this method presents considerable challenges, particularly in compensating for phase offsets and hardware distortions before merging the ...
