Friend, Not Foe: Lowered Tissue Reactivity to Long‐Term Polyimide Implants
The choice of optimal neural probe designs remains a major challenge in the field of neurotechnology. This study investigated the biocompatibility of several probe variations, including material, thickness, width, and implantation strategy. It highlights the clear advantage of soft polyimide probes over stiff silicon probes for better device ...

Mechanistic Understanding of Protein–MOF Integration Through Surfactant‐Driven Interfacial Design
This study reveals how surfactant‐driven interfacial design governs the assembly and stability of protein@MOF composites. Using lipid‐based nonionic surfactants, we modulate protein–MOF interactions to improve encapsulation efficiency, MOF crystallization, and catalytic performance.

Faster phenol photolysis at the air–water interface arises from two cooperative factors: a more favorable initial microenvironment for solvent‐side electron stabilization, which lowers CI access, and a more labile hydrogen‐bond network, which more readily reorganizes to stabilize the dark‐state intermediate.

A clinically translatable cell line can be engineered to produce leptin, encapsulated in biomaterial and safely implanted to produce and deliver the metabolic regulating protein within the body. Implantation of these encapsulated cells decreases the time it takes for mice and non‐human primates to adjust to circadian disruptions similar to those ...

Hickey (2003), taking a “stridently sociocultural” position on motivation, notes that conceptualizations of motivation must shift to successfully study “motivation-in-context” (p. 401). This study represents an attempt to navigate such a shift.

Two series of self‐doped conjugated polyelectrolytes are synthesized from a non‐self‐dopable building block 3MEEET and a self‐dopable building‐block 3HOT−[TMA+] or 3HOT−[SO3H] enabling precise control over the degree of self‐doping, which in turn directly governs the threshold voltage (VT) in OECTs over a wide range of 700 mV.
