Dual‐atom catalysts featuring varying spatial configurations of metal sites (Pt1Fe1 DACs) are employed to systematically investigate the influence of spatial arrangements on the electronic structure and catalytic activity of active sites. Notably, the 3D asymmetric Pt1Fe1‐TAC dimer, featuring strong interatomic interactions, demonstrates superior ...

PTFE nanoparticle–anchored rGO (rGO@PTFE) for scalable solvent‐free fabrication of ultra‐thick, high‐density cathodes, achieving high conductivity (9.55 S cm−1), lithium transference (0.73), and improved wettability, is developed. The resulting cathode delivers 15.2 mAh cm−2 areal and 563 mAh cm−3 volumetric capacities, with full cells exhibiting 637 ...

Optimal credible intervals under alternative loss functions
This article deals with Bayesian interval estimation of the parameter of a statistical model from a decision-theoretic perspective. We consider the class of monotone loss functions, that take into account both size and posterior probability of the sets and that, under general conditions, guarantees the optimality of high- est posterior probability sets.

Anion‐excessive gel‐based organic synaptic transistors (AEG‐OSTs) that can maintain electrical neutrality are developed to enhance synaptic plasticity and multistate retention. Key improvement is attributed to the maintenance of electrical neutrality in the electrolyte even after electrochemical doping, which reduces the Coulombic force acting on ...

Radiation‐induced hypothyroidism follows head and neck radiotherapy due to oxidative stress and inflammation. Electrospun polycaprolactone scaffolds containing adenosine have potential to modulate thyroid repair. Scaffolds enhance thyrocyte proliferation, antioxidant enzymes glutathione peroxidase and catalase, reduce senescence and apoptosis markers ...

Credible Intervals for Knowledge Graph Accuracy Estimation
Knowledge Graphs (KGs) are widely used in data-driven applications and downstream tasks, such as virtual assistants, recommendation systems, and semantic search. The accuracy of KGs directly impacts the reliability of the inferred knowledge and outcomes.

Assessing life expectancy disparities in Chicago with a deep dive into green space
Background: Few studies have examined the association between green space and life expectancy, and only one study has looked at that data for small areas in the United States.

This manuscript describes the cultivation of viable microvessels from cryopreserved human brain tissue. When embedded in hydrogels and cultured in microfluidic devices, these microvessels exhibit complex architectures reminiscent of arterioles and capillaries, can be perfused, and display intact barrier function. Collectively, these results demonstrate
