Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 1968AbstractCreep behavior of branched polyethylene melts with various molecular weight distributions are examined experimentally. The order of the steady‐state compliance is in accord with the prediction from the molecular weight distribution. The shear rate dependence of viscosity and steady‐state compliance are analyzed according to Pao's theory.

The Creep Behavior of a Floating Beam
Journal of Ship Research, 1983The creep response is obtained for an inhomogeneous beam, with simple end supports, resting on a liquid foundation and subjected to a sinusoidally distributed load. The Norton-Bailey constitutive equations are used to describe secondary creep behavior and elastic effects are retained. The liquid foundation is taken as a continuous Winkler support.

1981Abstract : A total of 150 tests were run to evaluate the applicability of rate process theory, RPT, for frozen soil. Three creep test types: constant load into tertiary creep, temperature stage test under constant load, and stress stage test under constant temperature were used to obtain the parameters in the RPT equation.
