Mechanical behavior: load transfer; monotonic, cyclic and creep behavior
1993In this chapter, we discuss various aspects of mechanical behavior of ceramic matrix composites: mechanics of load transfer from the matrix to the fiber, behavior of CMCs under monotonic and cyclic (fatigue) loading, and creep conditions.

Creep behavior of polyethylene melts
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 1968AbstractCreep behavior of branched polyethylene melts with various molecular weight distributions are examined experimentally. The order of the steady‐state compliance is in accord with the prediction from the molecular weight distribution. The shear rate dependence of viscosity and steady‐state compliance are analyzed according to Pao's theory.

Creep Behavior of Frozen Sand.
1981Abstract : A total of 150 tests were run to evaluate the applicability of rate process theory, RPT, for frozen soil. Three creep test types: constant load into tertiary creep, temperature stage test under constant load, and stress stage test under constant temperature were used to obtain the parameters in the RPT equation.
