Discovery and Functional Characterization of Diverse Class 2 CRISPR-Cas Systems [PDF]
Microbial CRISPR-Cas systems are divided into Class 1, with multisubunit effector complexes, and Class 2, with single protein effectors. Currently, only two Class 2 effectors, Cas9 and Cpf1, are known.

Fractional Multidimensional System [PDF]
The multidimensional ($n$-D) systems described by Roesser model are presented in this paper. These $n$-D systems consist of discrete systems and continuous fractional order systems with fractional order $\nu$, $0<\nu<1$. The stability and Robust stability of such $n$-D systems are investigated.

Programming native CRISPR arrays for the generation of targeted immunity [PDF]
: The adaptive immune system of prokaryotes, called CRISPR-Cas (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats and CRISPR-associated genes), results in specific cleavage of invading nucleic acid sequences recognized by the cell’s “memory” of ...

Rational Design of Inner Ear Drug Delivery Systems
Hearing loss is a common disease affecting many people, and inner ear lesions are one of the most important causes. This review focuses on the treatment of inner ear hearing loss by drug delivery systems. It includes the current methods and technologies developed, and it predicts possible directions.

This study verifies that circRNA‐mTOR exhibits high expression levels in HCC and has a strong correlation with patient prognosis. Mechanistically, circRNA‐mTOR achieves this effect by facilitating the nuclear translocation of RNA‐binding protein (RBP) PSIP1 through specific binding.

Exploiting CRISPR-Cas to manipulate Enterococcus faecalis populations
CRISPR-Cas provides a barrier to horizontal gene transfer in prokaryotes. It was previously observed that functional CRISPR-Cas systems are absent from multidrug-resistant (MDR) Enterococcus faecalis, which only possess an orphan CRISPR locus, termed ...

Takeda G protein‐coupled receptor 5 (TGR5) serves as a central regulator in the metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)/metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatohepatitis (MASH) transition via conjugated lithocholic acid (LCA). Mechanistically, TGR5 orchestrates lipotoxicity‐induced cell death through its interaction with CD36 ...

The paper deals with combinatorial and stochastic structures of cubical token systems. A cubical token system is an instance of a token system, which in turn is an instance of a transition system. It is shown that some basic results of combinatorial and stochastic parts of media theory hold almost in identical form for cubical token systems, although ...
