Age‐Related Characteristics of SYT1‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives We describe the clinical manifestations and developmental abilities of individuals with SYT1‐associated neurodevelopmental disorder (Baker‐Gordon syndrome) from infancy to adulthood. We further describe the neuroradiological and electrophysiological characteristics of the condition at different ages, and explore the associations ...

Quasinormal modes for massive charged scalar fields in Reissner-Nordström dS black holes: anomalous decay rate

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
The anomalous decay rate of the quasinormal modes occurs when the longest-lived modes are the ones with higher angular number. Such behaviour has been recently studied in different static spacetimes, for uncharged scalar and fermionic perturbations ...

Nonlinear Effects on Charge Fractionalization in Critical Chains

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters
We investigate the generic transport in a one-dimensional strongly correlated fermionic chain beyond linear response. Starting from a Gaussian wave packet with positive momentum on top of the ground state, we find that the numerical time evolution splits the signal into at least three distinct fractional charges moving with different velocities.

MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL TREATMENT REDUCES THE RISK OF TREATMENT ESCALATION DUE TO VASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN LIMITED CUTANEOUS SYSTEMIC SCLEROSIS: EMULATION OF A TARGET TRIAL FROM ITALIAN RHEUMATOLOGY SOCIETY SPRING REGISTRY

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF) use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) is relatively uncommon due to the lower fibrotic burden and the predominance of the vascular complications. In vitro observations and clinical data from transplanted patients suggest a protective effect of MMF on endothelial function.

Effects of string cloud on Gauss-Bonnet holographic superconductors

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
The effects of the string cloud on higher-dimensional holographic superconductors in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity are investigated in the probe limit. The critical temperature is analytically obtained using Sturm-Liouville eigenvalue method.

Hairy black holes and holographic heat engine

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2020
By considering AdS charged black hole in the context of extended thermodynamic as the working substance we use it as a heat engine. We investigate the effect of hairy charge on the evolution of efficiency and Carnot efficiency along with electric charge.

Adjustment of Coatings Morphology and Particle Distribution of Layered Silicates by Freeze‐Drying for Improved Gas Barriers

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Freeze‐drying of layered silicate is the key to get coatings with superior gas barrier. Freeze‐drying of layered silicates modified with dodecylamine (DDA) is a highly effective technique for the preparation of barrier pigments that significantly mitigate the permeation of oxygen, water vapor, and hydrogen through polymer films containing these ...

Critical Success Factors for Implementing Road Charging Systems [PDF]

open access: yesOECD/ITF Joint Transport Research Centre Discussion Papers, 2010
Road user charging is used as an 'umbrella' term to describe a wide range of applications of pricing roads and infrastructure. Road user charging includes a number of charging measures that governments and other road owners use to: i) finance new or maintain existing road infrastructure ii) manage traffic (e.g.
