We investigate the quantum phase transitions of spin systems in one and two dimensions by employing trace distance and multipartite entanglement along with real-space quantum renormalization group method. As illustration examples, a one-dimensional and a

This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Study on the Influence of Structural Dimensions on Plate Deflection Under Confined Blast
The damage assessment of structures subjected to confined internal blast remains a focal point in the field of explosion. However, current research results are mostly limited to the situation where the cabin structure dimensions remain constant, and the ...

The nature of most probable paths at finite temperatures
We determine the most probable length of paths at finite temperatures, with a preassigned end-to-end distance and a unit of energy assigned to every step on a $D$-dimensional hypercubic lattice.

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...

On the extremals of the P\'olya-Szeg\H{o} inequality
The distance of an extremal of the P\'olya-Szeg\H{o} inequality from a translate of its symmetric decreasing rearrangement is controlled by the measure of the set of critical points.Comment: 17 pages, 3 ...

Critical length parameter of HDPE and its use in fatigue lifetime predictions
The contribution describes the fatigue lifetime predictions of polyethylene notched specimens based on the theory of critical distance. The approach uses the line method, which averages the axial stress over the critical distance.
