Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

The precise prediction of vibration response is crucial for optimizing the assembly quality of multi-stage rotors. Existing models possess two key limitations: they neglect the geometric displacement excitation from spigot eccentricity error and ...

Exciton-phonon and exciton-exciton interactions in GaAs by time-resolved optical reflectivity
We present the study of the ultrafast carrier dynamics in bulk GaAs at 6 K, by time-resolved optical reflectivity in a wide range of excitation densities.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Predicting critical ignition in slow-fast excitable models
Linearization around unstable travelling waves in excitable systems can be used to approximate strength-extent curves in the problem of initiation of excitation waves for a family of spatially confined perturbations to the rest state. This theory relies on the knowledge of the unstable travelling wave solution as well as the leading left and right ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Review: Critical Excitation Problems for Elastic–Plastic Structures Under Simple Impulse Sequences
This review paper treats critical excitation methods and discusses the possibility of a paradigm shift in nonlinear structural dynamics for building structures with hysteresis using input model transformation without structural model transformation. Long‐
