Resonant (p,q)-equations with Robin boundary condition
We consider a nonlinear nonhomogeneous Robin problem that has the sum of a p-Laplacian and a q-Laplacian (a (p,q)-equation). The reaction term is a Caratheodory function which is resonant at $\pm\infty$ with respect to any nonprincipal variational ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Existence and multiplicity of solutions for a class of superlinear p-Laplacian equations
In this work, we investigate a class of pp-Laplacian equations with the Dirichlet boundary condition. Under some new conditions, the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial solutions are proved by means of the variational methods.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Examining the relationships between metacognition, self-regulation and critical thinking in online Socratic seminars for high school social studies students [PDF]
textThis study examined the relationships between metacognition, self-regulation and students' critical thinking skills and disposition in online Socratic Seminars for ninth grade World Geography and Culture students. Participants of this study came

Empowering marginalised groups for inclusive tourism: a call for critical studies
The creation, maintenance and definitions of margins – alongside the socio-cultural meanings and experiences of marginalisation and the marginalised – have long been a topic of extensive debate among scholars, policymakers, and politicians.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

The Effect of Intragroup Communication on Preference Shifts in Groups [PDF]
We use a laboratory gift-exchange game to examine decisions made by groups under three different procedures that dictate how group members interact and reach decisions in comparison to individuals acting alone.

Graduate nurses: Critical thinkers or better decision makers?
This study evaluates the difference in development of critical thinking across four groups of nurses at different stages of the academic process and their perception of their decision-making ability in practice.

In this paper, we study a class of biharmonic equations with a singular potential in RN $\mathbb{R}^{N}$. Under appropriate assumptions on the nonlinearity, we establish some existence results via the Morse theory and variational methods.
