Regulated Ion‐Diffusion Hydrogels for Subtle and Multimodal Temperature‐Strain Sensing in Wound Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.

Wetting deformation prediction of compacted lateritic clay subjected to dynamic loading

open access: yesJournal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering
Rainfall infiltration and groundwater level fluctuation cause the subgrade filler to be wetted, rendering the subgrade prone to accelerated permanent deformation under long-term traffic loading.

The critical freeze-thaw cycle considering moisture content increase in the accelerated freeze-thaw test

open access: yesJournal of Asian Concrete Federation, 2019
In the paper, specimens with 2 kinds of water to cement ratios were conducted with the accel- erated freeze-thaw test and the critical degree of saturation test. In the accelerated freeze-thaw test, the trend of the relative dynamic modulus of elasticity (RDM) can be divided into two parts.

Fully Additive Vertical Organic Electrochemical Transistors on Renewable and Compostable Substrates Enable Ultrasensitive Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fully additive vertical organic electrochemical transistors (vOECTs) with channel‐length of 226 nm on a 50 µm compostable substrate achieve >106 current modulation and ∼36 mS transconductance. Ion‐selective integration enables 1.1 mA dec−1 sensitivity and 36 µm detection limit, highlighting a scalable platform for sustainable electronics and ...

X‐Functionality–Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution in 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report a water‐based synthesis of 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 perovskite microcrystals with prominent photocatalytic (PC) activity for H2 production. The synergy between organic functionalization and HI‐derived iodide scavenges holes suppress octahedral distortion, and favor electron accumulation, enabling a PC H2 evolution ∼20 µmol·g−1 and long‐term stability ...
